About 30 European scientific bodies, universities and leading industrial companies have generated the joint statement ‘Added value of excellence in science’ after meeting on 6th and 7th March at a high-level round table in Brussels organized by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the Max Planck Gesellschaft (MPG). The document aims to help strengthen the European Research Area to ensure sustainable economic growth and jobs based on the achievements of excellent science.
